I am so happy to meet you! My name is Ms. Griffis and I will be your teacher this school year. This is a big and exciting step! I have a son, and he is going to the 8th grade this year! I love to help children learn and see them smile! WELCOME TO KINDERGARTEN!!
I graduated from high school in Texas. I went to college in Virginia. I graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. After teaching two years in middle school science, and two years in the second grade, Kindergarten is my home. I love helping my students establish a solid foundation and acquire a love of learning as they begin the journey of education.
I enjoy reading, writing, singing and gardening. I like to cook, when possible. I treasure spending time with my son: having our “Family Night” and chats at the dinner table. My top favorite is serving God and doing all to glorify Him!
